Psychiatric Medication Management is integral in the management of many psychiatric disorders, most of which require a two-pronged approach for successful treatment. Psychiatric Medication Management includes a thorough history-taking and assessment, an informed decision-making process for an effective treatment plan, and your active involvement in the whole process. The provider, together with your input and participation, and on the results of the assessment, will determine whether psychotropic medications are the right option for you. The providers will also discuss psychiatric medication options to treat your mental health conditions and options best suited for you as an individual. Our providers will educate you on the benefits of taking the medication, what the medication is for, how to take it, and the common side effects associated with the medication recommended for you.
We serve all populations across the lifespan.

Depression is one of the common mental health conditions that affect all age groups from children to older adults. Depression, which is diagnosed as Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a common and serious mental health disorder that negatively affects how you feel, how you think, and how you act. Major depressive disorder is different from the occasional feelings of sadness you may experience after losing a job, an argument or disagreement, or even bad weather. Usually, such feelings come and go as you respond to ongoing changes in your environment. However, depression tends to feel heavier and more constant. Since depression is defined by thoughts and feelings, it may be difficult to identify it in someone. Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed. You may experience changes in your appetite, loss of energy or increased fatigue, feelings of worthlessness or guilt, and difficulty thinking, concentrating, or making decisions. You may also feel like you are not worthy of living. If you are experiencing these and others, please do not hesitate to seek help immediately. Depression can be treated. Most effective approaches include psychotherapy with medication management.
